Job Description The IT Support Specialist acts as the primary liaison between IT infrastructure teams, business partners, clients, and third-party vendors. This role ensures system performance, stability, and efficiency across multiple platforms while providing expert-level consulting and support for infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities Act as the primary IT liaison with multiple interfacing applications, clients, IT infrastructure teams, third-party vendors, and business partners. Perform end-to-end capacity and performance tuning to maintain or improve performance across multiple systems. Apply analytical and technical skills to proactively identify, track, manage, and resolve application and infrastructure issues. Provide consulting services on new infrastructure initiatives and assess, research, and analyze business and system needs. Explore alternative options and recommend technology solutions and designs that meet business needs. Develop proposals for senior management as required. Partner with internal and external groups for problem resolution and implementation of support initiatives or defect fixes. Adhere to standards concerning process documentation and professional conduct. Carry the production support Samsung or iPhone on a rotation basis with backup support. Requirement/Must Have Strong technical background with a minimum of 5 years of experience across various system platforms. Strong analytical skills with experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues within infrastructure and applications. Experience in IT development, support, and implementation lifecycles. Technical skills in IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, CICS, ZEKE, MQ, DB2, GitHub, and JIRA. Knowledge of Base24, Interac, HPE NonStop, and networking is a plus. Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. Highly curious and motivated to learn quickly. Should Have (Nice to Have) 3 to 5 years of experience in a support capacity with Point of Sale (POS) knowledge. Familiarity with multiple programming languages such as C, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and VB. Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and UCD. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with both internal and external clients. University degree or college diploma preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
