Job Description What is the Opportunity? As a Senior Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will work within the Mainframe Operating Systems team to install and support z/OS products. This team is responsible for the evaluation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a suite of mainframe operating system components and associated vendor products that run on all RBC Mainframe systems. What will you do? Install and support various z/OS mainframe products across multiple data centers and LPARs. Research, identify and make recommendations on new features and functions of vendor software. Provide technical support to operations staff in NCC, GCC and application developers as required. Ensure products are kept at supported and current levels. Ensure that support for products is provided in a timely fashion. Develop criteria for and participate in the evaluation of vendors and software. Create, update and contribute to critical documentation. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Completion of a post‑secondary education. Five years of experience installing and supporting z/OS software products, mainframe applications or operations support. IBM TSO, ISPF, JCL, SDSF experience. Experience with mainframe languages such as COBOL, REXX or Assembler. Excellent communication skills spanning technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to keep pace in a complex and rapidly changing environment. Can learn quickly and independently, and motivated to research new information. Available for after‑hours production support when needed. Nice to have: Experience with Mainframe sub‑systems such as IMS, DB2, CICS, WebSphere, MQ Series, TCP/IP. Experience with mainframe debugging and installation tools such as IPCS and SMP/E. Familiarity with CI/CD mainframe pipeline. Familiarity with Mainframe monitoring and reporting tools (z/OSMF, SAS, OMEGAMON, Common Data Provider) Familiarity with Universal Command. What’s in it for you?
