Job Opportunity A career opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Social Care Worker at Seaforth House Care Home in Golspie. Responsibilities Lead the shift and administer medication. Support and guide other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. Carry out support planning and reviewing processes, and risk assessments relating to older people. Adopt a person‑centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home. Provide support and assistance to enable residents to remain as independent as possible, promoting their own abilities, independence and skills. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a social care setting is essential. Ideally you will hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care, or at a minimum an SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ 3 to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults. Employment Details This is a permanent part‑time post of 29.5 hours working as per service requirements.
