Quality Control Coordinator – Bureau Veritas North America We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our environmental laboratory in Montreal, QC. The coordinator contributes to the achievement of quality standards and service, ensuring analytical activities meet client and governmental requirements. Responsibilities Participate in the revision of procedures. Proceed to the diffusion of documents and update equipment inventories. Gather data for performance scorecards. Manage PT samples: order, compile results, verify reports, communicate results, and follow up on failures and corrective actions. Prepare and organize internal audits. Participate in QC meetings with the Operations Manager. Perform administrative tasks to maintain the documentation system. Provide QC training to employees. Act as a resource person for internal clients on QC subjects. Calibrate pipettes, balances, and verify thermometers for hot, cold room, and fridge environments. Perform any other related tasks. Qualifications B.Sc. or college diploma in chemistry, or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong written and oral communication skills in French and English. Ability to organize tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Good knowledge of ISO 17025 and Quebec environmental accreditations is an asset. Experience as an internal auditor is an asset.
