Position Summary Bilingual Partnerships Manager (Full‑time, Permanent) Base Pay Range CA$95,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr Location & Work Model Based in Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, or Toronto. Hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 2 days in‑office per week. Responsibilities Manage and implement a comprehensive partnerships plan (70%) Lead development and execution of annual government relations strategy for the Government of Quebec and other Provincial governments, and support federal government relations, including strategic planning and execution of federal partnership. Develop annual plans to provide government officials and corporate partners with appropriate opportunities to engage with Futurpreneur and staff. Lead prospecting and proposal development to secure new funding opportunities, especially with Quebec‑based corporations. Serve as key contact for the Government of Quebec, QC‑based corporate partners, and other partners under the role's partnership management responsibilities. Develop and implement appropriate short‑ and long‑term plans to secure the needed government and corporate financial support, aligned with organizational priorities. Identify, prioritize, and maintain strong working relationships with key government stakeholders at all levels of government, focusing on priority provinces determined in discussion with the Senior Director, Partnerships. Prepare presentations, written and oral briefings, funding proposals, submissions, and other communications for government partners and prospects. Manage ongoing government partnerships with a high level of accuracy and excellent stewardship. Lead and manage event logistics and stakeholder outreach for key government and corporate engagement events, including outreach to entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, government, and corporate partners. Internal and External stakeholder management (30%) Engage and support the Partnerships Team and Regional Directors in relevant governance and corporate stewardship activities. Work with internal teams to ensure an efficient and collaborative process for the development of concepts and proposals, soliciting input from internal teams as required. Support preparation of briefing materials and discussion documents for the Partnerships Team, Leadership Team, and Senior Leadership Team on government policy issues and corporate trends/opportunities. Support cross‑functional teams to ensure Futurpreneur's communications are fully bilingual, especially when working with government and Francophone stakeholders. Manage consistent, professional, and timely internal and external communications, ensuring key stakeholders for all deliverables, reports, proposals, and activities are fully understood by team members. Ensure appropriate cadence of internal and external communications and updates. Meet all deadlines for reports and respond to external requests as soon as possible. Provide support on translation for external bilingual communications when needed. Qualifications Relevant experience may include education with a focus on economics, public policy, public administration, political science, or the equivalent; Master’s degree considered an asset. Minimum 5 years' experience working in government relations, fundraising or relevant role(s). Superb written and communication skills. Bilingualism in French & English (spoken & written) required. Excellent interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy to establish rapport and build strong relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Self‑motivated and self‑disciplined to meet and exceed fundraising targets, and meet agreed‑upon deadlines. Experience in prospecting, negotiating, and stewarding funding partnerships. Demonstrated ability to build and successfully implement a government relations strategy involving complex and multi‑faced issues. Demonstrated knowledge of government at all levels, understand how government policy is developed and how decisions are made. Experience in stakeholder outreach and engagement. Experience working in the not‑for‑profit sector or social finance considered an asset. Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, embracing and championing change. Collaborative and adaptable team player, bringing a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset. Strong organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic hybrid work environment.
