You will be responsible for leading the processes and practices that will make the Hospital a welcoming, energizing, and rewarding place to work. The successful candidate will be scheduled for 40 hours per week on-site at the Hospital.Timmins offers outdoor opportunities and a community of over 40,000 residents with access to city amenities without long commutes or high costs of living. Timmins Animal Hospital has been a full-service animal hospital since 1974, focused on preventative care and providing medical, surgical and dental services. We offer an in-house laboratory and diagnostic imaging (radiography and ultrasonography) to aid in diagnosis and assessment of conditions and injuries.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo support recruitment initiatives to grow the practice from a companion animal hospital to include emergency and referral servicesExpand clinical services and service offeringsManage travel and scheduling of a multi DVM practice with a rotation of specialistsDevelop strong marketing campaigns to promote new service offerings and increase patient volumeFoster relationships with college programs to aid in recruitment initiativesOversee, support and nurture the pet experience by ensuring that the Hospital has the necessary resources, equipment, and team members necessary to offer the best possible medical, surgical and emergency careEnsure medical teams have access to continuing education, mentorship and development opportunities to support continuous improvement and enhance patient careExpand clinical services and service offeringsStrategic PlanningBusiness plan development and championing its implementationAccreditation, Certification and other Medical SOPsClient Care, Patient Care and ComplianceKPI management, Best Practices and Operational SOPsRevenue growth and cost management, particularly in the area of labor and Cost of Sales (COS)Teambuilding and Professional Development, considering patient and hospital needsHuman Resources Management & Conflict ResolutionHiring, Onboarding, TrainingPerformance ReviewsClient Service & Hospital marketing supportMonthly analysis and reporting, and operationalizing areas for improvementLiaise with P3’s Medical Advisory Board, university professors, college instructors, industry program providers and individual instructors to develop and coordinate coursesMaintain relationships with hospital leads and their teams and extend that capability to referring Veterinary Practices, building alliances within the P3 group with high morale and accountabilitySupport individual team members in their growth and goals through professional development, coaching, guidance, and evaluation of continuing education goalsFoster teamwork and peer-to-peer coachingLead, collaborate with, and coach department leads in HR scenarios, operations, data analysis/tools and decision makingCultivate an inspirational environment that is a great place to work in veterinary healthcareParticipate in creating and maintaining an organization chart for the HospitalPromote a positive working culture and reflect P3’s vision and values throughout the HospitalEnsure delivery of an exemplary client experience – collaborate on standards and measure complianceRecognize and empower high performers to grow within our group of Emergency hospitalsAct as a positive role model with a collaborative approachRecruit, mentor and retain a team with accountability, high morale, collegiality, and effective teamworkSet others up for success and foster open, proactive, and cooperative relationshipsCollaborate with Department Leads to set non-financial performance goals related to patient care and client experienceEnsure engaging, motivating, and empowering interactions with clients, team members, and stakeholdersAssist in developing industry-leading compensation, benefits and rewards programsChampion P3’s commitment to being a Great Place to Work; develop growth plans based on results of annual surveysDevelop annual budgets and short- and long-term business plans for the HospitalUse available resources to analyze data and make actionable decisions impacting operations (asset purchases, new hires, rate changes)Identify revenue opportunities and solve barriers through data review and reporting platformsOversee regular strategy and budgeting meetingsPrioritize equipment and facility needs with Department Team Leads;
