OverviewSenior Litigation Law ClerkOur client is seeking a legal professional with 10+ years of civil litigation clerk experience.ResponsibilitiesPreparing and executing court filingsAccurately preparing legal documents and correspondence with minimal directionDrafting legal documents and correspondenceMonitoring and calendarizing activities/deadlines and liaising with necessary internal and external parties regarding the sameMonitoring emails and responding to client inquiries in a timely manner under the direction of a senior professional or partnerMaintaining, organizing, and updating the litigation department’s docket system of due dates for action and follow upOther duties as requiredQualificationsA post-secondary diploma or certificate as either a legal assistant, law clerk or paralegal10+ years of civil litigation experience with focus in construction is an assetAptitude in Adobe and the Microsoft Suite is requiredExperience in intellectual property is an assetA high degree of accuracyProfessional oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsThe ability to coordinate and calendarize multiple deadlines, schedules and workflowsStrong proofreading skillsThe ability to work alone and in a team environmentThe ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environmentBilingualism in both French and English would be an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
