We’re a locally owned flooring store in Ottawa looking for an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Flooring Sales Associate to join our growing team. If you’re driven by results, love helping customers find the perfect floors, and enjoy a mix of showroom and hands‑on work — this could be the perfect fit. What You’ll Do Welcome customers to the showroom and guide them through flooring options, styles, and materials. Prepare quotes, estimates, and invoices accurately and efficiently. Follow up with customers and close sales with professionalism and care. Load and unload flooring materials (lifting up to 80–100 lbs required). Maintain showroom displays and assist with warehouse organization. May be required to measure client spaces for flooring estimates. Occasionally visit job sites or deliver small materials (vehicle required). Stay up to date on product knowledge and installation details to confidently advise customers. What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of flooring sales experience (retail or contractor-focused). Reliable vehicle required — for client visits and on‑site measurements. Goal‑driven and self‑motivated — you thrive on hitting targets and earning through results. A genuine love for people — friendly, honest, and great at building trust with customers. Physically capable of safely lifting and handling heavy flooring products (up to 100 lbs). Strong communication and organization skills. Basic computer skills; familiarity with POS or estimating software is a plus. What We Offer Commission‑only pay structure — unlimited earning potential for top performers.
