About the role: We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist Online Marketing. The Senior Specialist Online Marketing is responsible for the retail focus on online activities of all business divisions at our client partner. This includes planning and execution of content and media strategies of all retail partners while developing, deploying, maintaining and reporting on all existing and new retailer initiatives for all business divisions to drive incremental sales and profit while ensuring our online market leadership and distinction from our competitors.

What you’re responsible for:

  1. Supports how to effectively and efficiently respond to online inquiries re product information, promotions, existing orders, returns, outstanding credits and shipping information.
  2. Manage client owned brand shops and brand pages.
  3. Manage product launches by briefing all stakeholders’ inputs for clear direction.
  4. Manage the Online Content Enhancement program for all partnerships including working with content syndication partners, and manage and upload content pages.
  5. Communicate with stakeholders to get alignments and approvals on the process of projects and product launches.
  6. Manage SKU listing by ensuring correct product images, descriptions and content.

Performance Marketing and Online Reviews

  1. Plan and execute performance marketing for retailer.com to improve conversion.
  2. Plan and execute client media programs and prepare campaign performance reports with recommended optimizations.
  3. Work closely with client advertising on unlocking new media opportunities.
  4. Manage account specific budget and work with different stakeholders to gain the best ROI.
  5. Evaluate and identify the right investment vehicles for performance-marketing activities.
  6. Regular reporting to track the performance of all activities and evaluate ROI.
  7. Develop brief for agency to build custom creatives for delivering right messaging in performance-marketing activities.

Knowledge:

  1. Knowledge of the best practices of the web, including site effectiveness and online campaign tracking.
  2. Knowledge of Digital Marketing best practice and demonstration of digital marketing skills including, search, display, social, email, lead generation, mobile trends, advertising platforms and associated media.
  3. Expert proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and with Online Analytical Processing, and Google analytics.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in the organization from senior executives to support staff.
  5. Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
  6. Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.
  7. Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment.

To join our team:

  1. University Graduate BA preferred or College Diploma.
  2. 3+ years Online Marketing experience.
  3. 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing including website project management, business/systems analysis, and/or interactive marketing preferred.
  4. Retail, consumer electronics or telecommunications industry experience is a strong asset.
  5. Project management experience.
  6. Managing multiple product launches and communicating with stakeholders.
  7. Proven experience defining web requirements, working with both marketing and technical teams.
  8. Experience using web content management systems and syndication partners is an asset.
