The role evaluates service requests and targets to prioritize and assign work promptly, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. About the Role The WDR bridges customers, retailers, and distributors, requiring a deep understanding of the electric utilities industry, the ATCO Electric service area, and geographic context. Knowledge of ATCO’s customer terms and the customer connection lifecycle is advantageous. Responsibilities Champion customer service experience; demonstrate exemplary interactions and one‑contact resolution. Use customer information and work‑management systems to respond to calls, billing inquiries and initiate investigations, creating service requests as needed. Monitor and report metrics for delinquent requests, including underground locates, high‑load moves, retailer and customer requests. Dispatch and track work requests, manage exceptions and ensure completion against service targets. Serve as centralized contact for field operations and central work‑operations procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve site account updates and work‑queue reports using approved processes in systems such as ATCO‑CIS and Maximo. Prioritize inquiries using ATCO systems, determine on‑site need, identify mapping discrepancies, and coordinate with external contractors to correct them. Ensure that all customer communications comply with privacy standards and industry codes of conduct. What We Are Looking For / Who You Are High school diploma required. Minimum of 3 years customer service experience, preferably in call‑center or utility roles. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills for customer inquiries. Strong sense of purpose and urgency. Ability to foster a positive work environment through knowledge sharing. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication (oral & written) skills. Proactive customer focus and ownership of experience. Adaptability to changing priorities and multiple objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). Knowledge of customer information, work‑management, workforce‑management systems and quality metrics. Residency requirement: must maintain a residence within the Vegreville service boundary.
