Join a team that has the environment down to a science.Your OpportunityWe are currently looking for an Engineering or Sciences student interested in a career in the environmental consulting field for Summer 2026. This position is based in Fredericton NB or Saint John NB.Your Key ResponsibilitiesField work: field sampling and data gathering on environmental projects of all types of media including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air, noise, vibration and many moreProject coordination: among Stantec field staff, office staff, the client and other parties such as government regulators and suppliersData Management: collection, compilation and database applications of physical and chemical dataAnalysis: Desktop, computer and project team analysis of information and resources to identify and define solutions related primarily to environmental aspects such as air, water and the biophysical environment as well as socio-economic componentsReporting: preparation of reports detailing the work carried out, results, conclusions and recommendationsProposal Writing: working independently and on proposal teams to create winning proposals including defining scope of work, qualified teams and cost budgetingYour Capabilities and CredentialsThe successful Co-op candidate must be a motivated, self-starter, who works well in a team environment. He/she must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
