If you are looking for an opportunity to join a thriving, dynamic organization with an entrepreneurial spirit and an action-oriented culture, this role is perfect for you.The Product Manager - Hair Accessories is responsible for the overall management of hair accessories products within designated categories for the Conair brand in our Beauty & Home division. The role incorporates strategic and tactical elements to support product strategy, new product launches, and marketing plans to achieve growth, revenue, and market share.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and manage product life cycle within assigned categories to achieve division goals and objectives.Develop new product assortments that address a current trend or gap in the market to drive growth within assigned category.Execute new product launches through the development of assortments, packaging, POP material, and other related support material.Conduct ongoing review/analysis of the competitive marketplace, relating to current beauty and fashion trends, innovation, and new merchandising or distribution strategies.Perform ongoing data analysis to drive strategic line extensions and phase out low-performing products.Lead product line reviews with customers on performance, assortment gaps, new trends and opportunities, challenges, and solutions.Collaborate with overseas vendors to negotiate costs, manage sample approvals, and ensuring timely and high-quality production and delivery.Assist with the P&L for assigned categories to ensure divisional profitability objectives are met.Support sales team with product information, trends, samples, competitive information, and promotional strategies.Work in cross-functional teams that includes but is not limited to Sales, Marketing, Creative, and Planning, to manage all points of the product lifecycle.Attend / participate in trade events and customer meetings (travel required).Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or related field.2-5 years of experience in product management / development with consumer-packaged goods.Experience with the beauty, haircare or fashion industry is an asset.Interest in the beauty industry and curious about key trends.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle SKU-intensive programs in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Demonstrated ability to work well cross functionally and collaboratively.Strong problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented thinking.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).Willingness to travel occasionally as required.What we offerWe offer an attractive compensation package including extended health benefits, life insurance, and a defined contribution pension plan.Please forward your resume and cover letter to: recruitment_canada@conair.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
