Join to apply for the Engineer in Training (EIT) role at Ontario Mining Association. We are looking to hire an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate for one of our mine sites in Timmins, Ontario on a full‑time basis. The schedule is Monday‑Friday, 8 hrs/day or 4 on, 3 off, 10 hrs/day. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp‑based position. Job Responsibilities Follow a rotation through various engineering functions on surface and underground sites. Work in surveying, ventilation, ground control, longhole planning, development design, scheduling and day‑to‑day tracking, and short‑term planning. Embed with underground production crews to understand mine production roles first hand. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited university. Seeking P.Eng. licence with PEO when eligible. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and techniques as they apply to ore body evaluation and underground mine operations. Proficiency in mine planning software (Desik.CAD and Deswik.Sched). Eligible to work in Canada.
