How do we stay ahead of the pack By hiring the best and brightest mindsand thats why we want you Job Description : What will you work on The Junior Production Accountant is responsible for supporting the Finance manager and the financial analysist on the month end reporting tasks. This role will also manage post-production activities and support Film production team in the finances of the production companies. This position is a full-time position located in Toronto Ontario. How will you create impact Prepare and upload intercompany transactions in the accounting system Assist Finance Manager with inputting and preparing month end entries Prepare reconciliations in Blackline on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on the account Liaise with parent company accounts payable in processing wire and ACH payments Prepare and liaise with accounts receivable for the broadcasters invoices Prepare and file HST returns for active and inactive shows Prepare and reconcile production and distribution bank accounts monthly Manage production banks fundings Assist with providing requested audit and tax credit application documentation Provide cover for Accounts Payable Coordinator with timesheets Ad-hoc reports and other tasks and responsibilities as requested What are your skills and experience 2 years of experience in cycle accounting accounting reconciliations Work experience in month end and financial reporting is an asset knowledge of production union and fringe deductions is an asset Knowledge of Smart Accounting EPOL and EP Live is an asset Knowledge of SAP is an asset #LI-Hybrid #LI-HM1 What you can expect from us : Our mission is to Make Life More Fun with a vision to push the boundaries of innovation creativity and fun.
