Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Accountant located in Toronto, ON. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing reconciliation tasks. Daily duties include accounts payable and receivable management, maintaining financial records, assisting in budget preparation, and supporting the month-end closing process. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will help with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
  • Experience with financial records maintenance and reconciliation tasks
  • Proficiency in preparing financial reports and assisting in budget preparation
  • Familiarity with month-end closing processes and supporting audits
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
