Custom Switchboard Electrical Assembler Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for wiring, mounting, and troubleshooting complex electrical components and sub-assemblies for custom switchboards. $23.00 - $25.00/hr (based on experience) Shifts Available : Morning Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Training in the morning shift for 8 weeks (Mon-Fri | 7am- 3:30pm) Responsibilties: Assemble large switchboard structures and subassemblies using pre-fabricated metal parts, including steel and copper, following engineering schematics. Mount and brace horizontal and vertical bus, risers, and bus supports within structures. Use manufacturing tools and equipment, including high-power torque tools, punch presses, and band saws. Construct pallets according to engineering design requirements. Apply strong assembly fundamentals, ensuring proper hardware, torque, and consistent fastening methods. Identify and escalate design issues in mechanical and electrical schematics. Inspect parts and materials for quality and adherence to customer specifications, making adjustments as needed. Verify parts using bills of materials and resolve discrepancies with the Team Lead. Repair or rework issues identified during inspections or testing. Cross-train and backfill other roles as required. Adhere to CSA and UL codes and maintain internal KANBAN and MRB processes. Operate an engraving machine initially, transitioning to a mechanical assembler role based on demand. Perform other duties as assigned. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to visualize and plan assemblies using engineering schematics and drawings. Proficient with power tools, hardware, ladders, and pallet trucks. High commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Strong work ethic to meet production demands. Functional computer skills for using digital business tools like email and eLearning Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum

2 years of experience

in mechanical assembly using power tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models. Fluency in basic English (read, write, speak). Reside within

80 KM of Milton, ON

(no relocation offered). Post-secondary education or technical certification in a mechanical trade. Experience using tools such as Outlook, Oracle, and Inventor. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma tools.
