We are seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Services team, delivering evidence‑based care in communities across Ontario. This role supports clients who have experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to pre‑accident function. Program Areas: Traumatic Psychological Injury – Occupational Therapists work with clients such as first responders who have experienced trauma in the workplace. They conduct in‑vivo exposure therapy, behavioural activation, and trauma‑processing interventions, including innovative approaches such as virtual reality. Complex Auto – Assess and treat clients presenting with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial impairments after motor‑vehicle accidents. Responsibilities include in‑home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion and cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment, and other interventions. Veterans Affairs Canada – Provide in‑home assessments and recommendations for home safety/specialty equipment, home adaptations, personal support and housekeeping needs. Treatment may include behavioural activation, exposure therapy and trauma‑informed cognitive behavioural therapies. What We Offer You: Option to work as an employee or independent contractor. Guaranteed paid non‑billable time for training, administrative work, and meetings. Excellent administrative support, flexible hours, autonomy, and work‑life balance. Remote work options for virtual treatment, billing, and documentation. Signing bonus up to $10,000. What You Need To Be Successful Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (travel up to 1‑1.5 hours radius). Willingness to provide in‑vivo OT treatment in client homes, workplaces, and community settings. Passion for the profession, commitment to ongoing development, and dedication to premium client care. Ability to thrive in a self‑directed independent environment. Strong organizational, critical‑thinking, decision‑making, and analytic skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. Experience in the private sector, particularly auto sector legislation and mental health, is an asset.
