We'reseeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertisein data modeling, governance, and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will architect robust data pipelines and have a proven track recordof implementing enterprise-grade data solutions that power analytics and AI systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data pipelines following data architecture best practices Create comprehensive data models that support analytics, AI, and cross-platform integrations Implement data governance frameworks ensuring quality, security, and compliance standards Build and optimize AI-enabled data ingestion pipelines for intelligent processing Collaborate with AI engineers to create data processing systems that support agentic AI architecture Work with cross-functional teams (backend, AI, and frontend engineers) to deliver integrated platform solutions Productionize data pipelines in enterprise environments with high availability and performance requirements Develop monitoring and alerting systems for data pipeline health and performance optimization Requirements Extensive experience in data engineering with focus on enterprise-scale implementations Expert-level knowledge and proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development Deep understanding of dataarchitecture and modern data platform technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks etc) Strong background in data modeling, governance frameworks, and quality assurance practices Proven experience productionizing data pipelines in enterprise environments Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams Experience with AI-enabled data processing and analytics pipeline development Enthusiasm for working on cutting-edged data solutions that support AI and analytics platforms Other Details We are seeking exceptional talent for 12monthcontract positions with the potential to transition to full-time permanent roles. The estimated hourly range for this position would be $70- $120/hour CAD based on expertise, data engineeringexperience, and leadership capabilities. This is a hybrid position, with candidates needing to be located within the Greater Vancouver area.
