Structural Telecommunications Engineer

OverviewStructural Telecommunications Engineer position with CIMA+ based in Vancouver, BC, delivering engineering projects in telecommunications structures across BC, Ontario and Quebec. You will participate in design and analysis of telecommunications structures, ensure technical quality of deliverables, and coordinate with the engineering and drafting team under supervision of senior engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in kick-off meetings and technical coordination with team membersDesign and validate towers, reinforcements and special structuresDesign and verify foundations and anchoring systemsWrite structural analysis and other technical reportsCoordinate the drawing of engineering drawings with draftsmen and ensure deliverable qualitySupport implementation and improvement of innovative methods and tools to optimize processesContribute to interdisciplinary projects within CIMA+Participate in coordination meetings with clientsQualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 3+ years of experience in structural engineeringBe a member of EGBC; other Canadian P.Eng may be considered an assetStrong interest in structural calculations and technologyFluency in English (oral and written); French is an assetExcellent time and priority managementTeam player with attention to detail and strong organizational skillsInterest in design and improvement of automated calculation toolsAsset: experience in Telecommunications Structural EngineeringAsset: knowledge of SAFI Telecom and TSTowerAsset: interest in at-height telecommunication structure survey and inspectionCompensation and BenefitsThe expected salary range is CA$90,000 to CA$105,000, depending on candidate experience, training, skills, and internal equityFlexible work schedule in a hybrid work modeComprehensive group benefits from day one for permanent employeesEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramRRSP with 4% employer contributionEmployee ownership with opportunity to purchase sharesWork/Life balance policies across Canada3–5 weeks of vacation based on relevant experienceTailored training to improve existing skillsAdditional InformationEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+.
