Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. Perform variance analysis on financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Communicate findings to senior management. Support the month‑end and year‑end closing process by ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. Prepare and post accurate journal entries for various transactions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting principles. Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances within the general ledger accounts. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that cash balances in the general ledger align with those in the bank statements. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between the general ledger and bank accounts. Ensure all financial reports comply with relevant accounting standards and internal company policies. Utilize financial reporting systems and software to generate and present financial reports. Support internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring the completeness of financial records. Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and assist in the implementation of changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Prepare special reports and analyses as requested by management, ensuring all information is relevant and delivered on time. Work closely with accounting, finance, and other departments to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information. What will you need? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation in progress or preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles. Proficiency in financial reporting software (YARDI is preferred), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.). Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial data. Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results to support decision‑making. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial data and collaborate with other departments. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with accounting standards and financial regulations, such as GAAP, IFRS, or others applicable to the organization. What do we offer? We live and breathe our core values.
