We have a team of Supervisors and motivated colleagues who are excited to meet and support youWe are looking for individuals that are able to work split shifts: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. ResponsibilitiesAs a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in their homes as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will:Provide personal care and medication assistanceAssist with bathing, grocery shopping, laundry and housekeeping as neededObserve, document, and report any changes in the client’s condition to the Manager/SupervisorPerform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulYour Health Care Aide Certificate or EquivalentCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificationA clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 monthsAdult and Child Abuse Registry Check within the last 6 monthsValid driver’s license and reliable vehicleProof of a negative TB test within the last 12 months and an up-to-date immunization recordAbility to travel from home to home within the communityCommitment to work every other weekendStrong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate in other languages is an assetReliability and strong organization skillsAbility to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
