We believe in promoting from within, respecting people and their differences, providing high quality service and always having fun If you think you have what it takes to join our team, we want to meet youJob Skills / RequirementsPosition: Full Time Associate Security LeadSite: City of BramptonHours: Sunday to Saturday – Rotating Continental (1200 – 2400) (hours can change due to operational needs)Pay: $24.98/per hourPosting Date: August 15, 2025Internal Closing Date: August 21, 2025External Closing Date: September 5, 2025Job DescriptionReports directly to the Team Lead (Contract Manager) and serves as the secondary authority for contract security personnelDuring non-business hours the Associate Security Lead serves at the lead contact for the contracted security teamResponsible for a team of 20+ security personnel on a given shiftEnsuring guards assigned to work at the City meet the mandatory skill set required to work at the assigned locationArranging and reviewing site specific training with contract security guardsPerforming random checks of guards to ensure their knowledge and performance meet City expectationsCoordination and distribution of uniform and equipment itemEnsuring guards assigned to work at the City are licensed, have completed required training and are in proper uniformEnsuring Paladin Mobile Fleets are up to date on all required servicesEnsuring workplace safety and addressing safety issues.Ensuring PPE is available and being used as prescribedCompleting supervisory checks of field, mobile and supervisory staffCompleting notebook compliance checks with all staffCompleting pre-screening interviews and assigning new hires to specific postsInvestigating, Reviewing, and addressing Security Guard complaintsAssisting with event planning and staffingReviews and assists with the completion of Standard Operating Procedures, Post Orders and Temporary Standing OrdersConduct Disciplinary meetings with unionized and non-unionized staff membersPerforming other related duties as assigned by the City.Adjust schedule as needed, as per the operational needs of the City of BramptonAbility to implement Track TIK software as per operational needsRepresent the Team Lead in his/her absenceEnsuring sufficient training hours are being allocated to various roles within City of BramptonJob RequirementsMinimum Four (4) years Security Guard experience in a municipal government or corporate environment is an assetMinimum one year Supervisor experience preferredPost-Secondary education in a related field is an assetMust possess a valid Ontario Security LicenseMust possess a current First Aid/CPR certificationMust possesses a Valid G Class License and a clean abstractPhysical Demands; excessive walking, standing, exposed to all weather conditions and extreme temperaturesUtilize two-way radio and computer applications, such as Microsoft officeExcellent verbal/written English communications skills required. Bilingual/Multilingual applicants preferredMust participate in professional development of frontline staff members and Supervisory StaffFlexible with shift availability (security operates 24 hours/day)Must complete all required site training within 30 day of on-site hire dateSuccessful completion of CPO certification within first 6 months (training material and course cost covered by Paladin)Legally authorized to work in CanadaCertification Requirements (All)Standard First Aid, CPR Level CValid Ontario Security LicenseValid G or G2 Drivers LicenseAdditional Information / BenefitsPaladin Security has a diverse workforce.
