Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Bell Business Markets team as a Senior Network Security Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and integrating customized network security solutions for large enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate will have technical leadership skills in multiple technologies and experience working on complex projects. They will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design network and security solutions based on customer needs in collaboration with the customer's technical team.
  • Produce schematics, specifications, solution documents, and specifications for task completion related to selected solutions.
  • Define and validate delivery strategy for complex projects.
  • Lead project delivery, oversee scope evolution, and adapt strategy as necessary.
  • Act as a specialized expert for clients.
  • Write service proposals ensuring document quality within acceptable timeframes meeting technical and legal requirements between client and Bell.
  • Work directly with client technical leads, Bell technical leads, and support team members to ensure successful technical solution delivery based on project timelines and expectations.
  • Produce and write technical reports as requested for clients or management.
  • Support solution implementation during complex or critical changes.
  • Collaborate and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Critical Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications field.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with specialization in telecommunications or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP VPN (MPLS), cloud computing, and WiFi technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Significant experience with Cisco technologies, including CCNP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies, F5 load balancers, cloud computing, and SDWAN an asset.
  • Ability to define and identify customer needs with a focus on enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of results, ability to learn and adapt quickly, respect for deadlines and budget.
  • Knowledge of rigorous change management processes.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills in French and English.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
