OverviewCivil Engineer (Intermediate) at Associated Engineering, Kelowna Office. Join a collaborative team of civil and water resources professionals working on a variety of integrated projects including transportation infrastructure, water resources, drainage, and development studies. Travel will be required as needed based on project requirements. This role offers potential for career growth through involvement in a wide range of projects.ResponsibilitiesAct as Project Engineer and/or Project Manager on assigned projects.Prepare written technical reports (feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, design criteria reports).Prepare contract documents and construction drawings; oversee and coordinate work for Civil Technologists.Provide support to technicians and designers to ensure accurate deliverables; perform construction administration/inspection.Manage projects, including client communications, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.Coordinate sub-consultants and with other disciplines on larger projects.Execute projects in accordance with company guidelines and standards.Participate in marketing strategies and business development, including site visits and civil/infrastructure field activities.Contribute to water resources, infrastructure, and transportation projects across British Columbia; conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses and modelling for drainage, stormwater, and water management structures.Contribute to hydrotechnical design and GIS mapping and spatial analysis where applicable.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post‑secondary institution.Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC as a Professional Engineer.3+ years of civil design experience; experience in the resource sector (mining and/or forestry) related to transportation, bridges, and civil studies.Experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD; proven technical skills.Strong communication and organizational skills; a committed team player with a track record in client relationship development.Benefits & SalarySalary range: $75,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.Hybrid work environment (home and office).Competitive salary and benefits, including fitness allowance and company-matching pension program.Professional development support, mentoring, training opportunities, and professional designation support.Job Function & IndustryJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustry: Civil Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
