OverviewClinical Psychology Services (CPS) is a community clinic in Edmonton that provides care to individuals experiencing complex mental health and concurrent substance use disorders. The clinic is located in the Garneau neighbourhood and offers diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, group treatment, and service planning. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates with psychiatrists, therapists, and other allied health providers across the continuum of care.ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced clinical services including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence‑based psychotherapy to clients with complex and multi‑dimensional needs.Consult, collaborate, and lead initiatives to ensure practices align with psychology standards of practice, code of ethics, policy, legislation, and regulations.Lead, facilitate, and participate in program, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement, and evaluation activities.Supervise doctoral level residents, master’s level interns, provisional psychologists, psychometrists, and other team members as appropriate.QualificationsDoctoral degree in Psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program relevant to the practice setting.Active registration or eligibility with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). Applications from provisional psychologists may be considered.Demonstrated experience in formal psychological assessment, consultation skills, and psychotherapy using an evidence‑based modality.Minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health experience.Preferred QualificationsCurrent Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.Position FTE: 1.00 | Posting End Date: 30-OCT-2025 | Minimum Salary: $52.34 | Maximum Salary: $69.50 #J-18808-Ljbffr
