OverviewThe successful applicant will provide neuropsychological services within a subacute rehabilitation hospital setting within the Adult Rehabilitation Division. Working with a variety of patient populations, including acquired brain injury, stroke, and other neurological conditions, the Psychologist II conducts comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, interprets measures, writes reports, and provides feedback as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include consultation with families, development of transition plans, education to community partners, and participation in quality improvement projects and research.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, including interview, collateral information gathering, test selection, interpretation, report-writing, and client/family feedback.Consult with family members and other service providers, develop transition plans, and provide information about specialized community resources.Collaborate with psychometrists and pre‑doctoral residents, and provide consultation or education to community partners.Participate in quality improvement programs, educational initiatives, and research projects.Coordinate care within the multidisciplinary team and report to the Psychology Manager.Supervise doctoral‑level residents, master’s‑level interns, provisional psychologists, and other team members as appropriate.QualificationsDoctoral degree in psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program (or equivalent educational and experiential credentials).Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.Specialized training in neuropsychology and experience conducting neuropsychological assessment of adults.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to collaborate professionally with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.Preferred QualificationsAs required.BenefitsThe role offers generous annual vacation (three weeks, increasing to four weeks after one year), personal leave days, a comprehensive benefits package, a flexible spending account, a defined benefit pension plan, and regular work‑from‑home days.ClassificationPsychologist II – Regular Full‑Time, 1.00 FTE.LocationGlenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Alberta Health Services.Salary Range$52.34 – $69.50 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
