Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is looking to expand its Emergency Medicine group and is seeking certified individuals (FRCPC (Emergency Medicine), CCFP (EM), or ABEM) to join our collegial team. p>We currently have a strong team of 15 emergency physicians with an additional group of locums who support approximately 60,000 visits annually through our department. There is excellent specialist support available as well as CT and MRI on-site, and at least double physician coverage for most of the day and evenings. We have an ICU with excellent internist support, as well as regional or local coverage for urology, ophthalmology, and ENT. We are proud to be a new site for UBC’s Family Medicine residency program and you will have the opportunity to make an impact on medical students and residents.
