Excellent English language skills, French skills are an asset. As a Network Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the network infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in deploying, maintaining, and supporting networking systems to meet operational needs. Regular maintenance and upgrades will fall under your purview, alongside the responsibility of updating operational procedures and documentation as required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: · Install, configure, and maintain network devices to uphold optimal performance. · Ensure uninterrupted 24/7 availability across all systems. · Maintain and test the disaster recovery solution to guarantee seamless operation during emergencies. · Implement robust security measures to safeguard systems and execute daily operational controls. · Monitor and upkeep security infrastructure, including perimeter access points and intrusion prevention systems, to fortify defenses against threats. · Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly through troubleshooting and corrective actions. · Offer tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to the Application Support team, ensuring smooth operations. · Collaborate with external suppliers as necessary to address network-related requirements and procure necessary resources.

Education and certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Tech./B.E. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent in the related field.

Required Skills: · 5+ years of experience managing, supporting, deploying, and implementing Fabric Attached Network infrastructure. · 5+ years of experience overseeing, assisting with, and implementing Extreme Networks or AVAYA networking infrastructure. · 5+ years of experience managing, supporting, deploying, and implementing network infrastructure in other government organizations with security constraints. · 3+ years of experience managing, supporting, deploying, or implementing network deployments with Extreme Management Console (XMC). · 5+ years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation and network diagrams. · Valid CCNA certification or other certifications related to networking infrastructure and network security. · CISCO (or other) certifications related to networking infrastructure and network security are highly desirable.

En tant que spécialiste du soutien réseau, vous jouerez un rôle pivot dans la garantie de l'efficacité et de la fiabilité de l’infrastructure réseau. Votre expertise sera essentielle pour déployer, maintenir et soutenir les systèmes de mise en réseau afin de répondre aux besoins opérationnels. La maintenance régulière et les mises à niveau relèveront de votre responsabilité, ainsi que la mise à jour des procédures opérationnelles et de la documentation au besoin.

Principales fonctions et responsabilités :

· Installer, configurer et maintenir des dispositifs réseau pour garantir des performances optimales. · Assurer une disponibilité ininterrompue 24h/24, 7j/7 sur tous les systèmes. · Maintenir et tester la solution de reprise après sinistre pour garantir un fonctionnement sans faille en cas d'urgence. · Mettre en place des mesures de sécurité robustes pour protéger les systèmes et exécuter des contrôles opérationnels quotidiens. · Surveiller et entretenir l'infrastructure de sécurité, y compris les points d'accès périmétriques et les systèmes de prévention des intrusions, pour renforcer les défenses contre les menaces. · Identifier et résoudre rapidement les problèmes liés au réseau grâce au dépannage et aux actions correctives. · Fournir un soutien technique de niveau 1 et 2 à l'équipe de soutien aux applications, en veillant au bon fonctionnement des opérations. · Collaborer avec les fournisseurs externes au besoin pour répondre aux exigences liées au réseau et obtenir les ressources nécessaires. Formation et certifications : Licence en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.

Compétences requises :

· Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la gestion, soutien, déploiement et mise en œuvre de l'infrastructure réseau connectée en tissu. · Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la supervision, l'assistance et le mise en œuvre de l'infrastructure de réseau Extreme Networks ou AVAYA. · Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la gestion, le soutien, le déploiement et la mise en œuvre de l'infrastructure réseau dans d'autres organisations gouvernementales avec des contraintes de sécurité. · Un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans la gestion, le soutien, le déploiement ou la mise en œuvre de déploiements réseau avec Extreme Management Console (XMC). · Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la création, la mise à jour et la maintenance de la documentation technique et des diagrammes réseau. · Certification CCNA valide ou autres certifications liées à l'infrastructure réseau et à la sécurité réseau. · Les certifications CISCO (ou autres) certifications liées à l'infrastructure réseau et à la sécurité réseau sont très souhaitables.
