Position Overview Delivery Coordinator (Bilingual) – 6‑Month Contract, Remote. Location: Montreal, Quebec (on‑site MDO center, with partial remote shift Saturday). Reports to: Market Delivery Operation Manager. Key Responsibilities Make proactive customer calls and emails (72‑hour qualification, 48‑hour email, 24‑hour window calls, “No Inventory” and reschedule calls). Manage inbound calls and emails from the THD Contact Centre, stores, and customers, including driver communications. Operate the Delivery Management System (DMS) to update addresses, process returns, add services, investigate missed deliveries, and confirm delivery status. Serve as primary point of contact for fly‑by delivery requests, store pickup arrangements, and delivery statistics. Coordinate store‑to‑home and LTL deliveries – manage truck routing, monitor carrier capacity, audit daily load planning, and prioritize PRO deliveries. Handle returns, resolve driver feedback, and collaborate with the MDO operational team on delivery details. Maintain accurate performance reports for carriers and drivers, and suggest cost‑ and service‑improvement initiatives. Work the required shift schedule: Tuesday‑Friday 8:30‑17:00 on site, Saturday 8:30‑17:00 remote. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years in retail store service desk or delivery picking, staging, or loading. At least 2 years of experience with delivery routing systems (Descartes preferred). Strong sense of urgency and passion for logistics. Results‑driven, proactive problem‑solving, and customer‑focused mindset. Excellent relationship building and team‑player skills, especially with carriers, drivers, and store associates. Process‑improvement oriented with proven ability to implement change. Continuous learner who can multi‑task and manage time effectively. Knowledge of store or carrier processes is an advantage. Available to work varying shifts, including weekend shift.
