Your Mission

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in Lifemark’s growth and success. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, you will:

  1. Shape the Future: Help execute against Lifemark’s multi-year acquisition plan, identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen our presence in the Canadian physiotherapy and rehabilitation space.
  2. Lead the Charge: Oversee business development activities, ensuring lead generation and conversion targets are met, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Host Impactful Events: Strategically plan and execute in-person corporate development events to bring key stakeholders, industry leaders, and partners together, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.
  4. Monitor Trends: Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
  5. Foster Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic relationships with healthcare providers, industry associations, advisors, and other potential collaborators.
  6. Drive Results: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of business development initiatives and deliver regular updates to senior leadership.
  7. Promote Lifemark: Lead public relations and event activities to elevate Lifemark’s brand and market presence, positioning us as the partner of choice in Canadian healthcare.
What You Bring

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented leader with the following qualifications:

  1. Educational Excellence: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
  2. Proven Experience: 5+ years in business development, corporate development, or a similar role, ideally within the healthcare or rehabilitation industry.
  3. Strategic Event Leadership: Experience in planning and executing impactful in-person events that create meaningful connections and drive organizational goals.
  4. Strategic Mindset: Expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and identifying acquisition opportunities.
  5. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
