The Justice Education Society of British Columbia (JES) is a non-profit organization providing public legal education and justice system capacity building in Canada and overseas. JES helps over 700,000 British Columbians learn about the justice system and address their legal issues.JES is seeking an Instructor-Curriculum Developer with strong educational expertise and a passion for access to justice. The successful candidate will design and pilot engaging legal education materials for youth and create curriculum resources for BC teachers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign inquiry-based lesson plans in collaboration with youth, teachers, and JES staff.Pilot and refine lessons through student feedback.Prepare resources for publication on LawLessons.ca.Create train-the-trainer resources for teachers, intermediaries, and facilitators.Develop and revise culturally responsive workshop materials.Support and train multilingual facilitators to deliver accessible, accurate legal education.Deliver engaging training workshops both online and in-person for youth and multilingual audiences.RequirementsEducation degree or equivalent experience in curriculum design, teaching, adult learning, or instructional design.3+ years experience in curriculum development, or training design.3+ years experience teaching and working with youth.Demonstrated experience working with diverse and multilingual communities.Self-motivated with analytical skills and ability to solve problems and propose solutions.JES is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
