The Auto Center Teams provide a one‑stop shop for customers: vehicle drop‑off, rental pickup, and claims assistance. We build lasting relationships by delivering personalized, trusted advice. What You’ll Do Support customer claims from start to finish: arrange towing, set up appraisals, and outline coverage terms. Gather, organize, and verify required information and documentation to ensure a thorough and complete claims file. Reconcile estimates from vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for vehicle damage. Maintain a positive file count and open/close ratio to contribute to team productivity. Collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders, and external vendors such as repair shops and rental partners. Experience Growth Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to claim files. Learn and demonstrate our customer‑centric and strategic objectives while contributing to TD Insurance Group’s deliverables. Cultivate Our Culture of Care Greet and welcome customers in TD Auto Centres. Apply non‑biased and appropriate methods to achieve file resolution and fair claim settlement. Job Requirements One or more years of claims adjusting experience preferred; applicants without specific claims experience are welcome. Excellent customer service skills; dedicated to exceeding internal and external client expectations. Superior time‑management skills; thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities. Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes when reasonably possible. Clear and professional written and verbal communication; active listening. Strong investigative skills; analyze evidence and identify gaps. Support for company process improvements. Active pursuit of Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or other relevant continuing education preferred. Provincial claims licensing may be required.
