Education Graduation from a two‑year program of study from a recognised post‑secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another relevant specialty. Indeterminate incumbents who do not possess the specified education are deemed to meet the minimum education standard based on their education, training and/or experience. Acceptable combinations of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum education. Essential Experience Experience developing software solutions on various technology platforms (e.g., C#, React, Oracle APEX or other applicable platforms). Experience with System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) such as Waterfall, V‑Model or iterative approaches. English language essential. Competencies Integrity and respect. Thoughtfulness and thoroughness. Effective collaboration with others. Initiative and action orientation. Communication – writing, oral and listening skills. Abilities Ability to analyse and document technical IT problems or requirements and propose solutions. Experience working or volunteering in a mixed civilian and military environment. Experience in entity‑relationship or object data modelling. Experience in object‑oriented approach and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Experience conducting research with clients to identify appropriate existing or new IT solutions. Experience managing short‑term software solution projects as lead or key team member. Experience providing software solutions services in an academic institution. Security Clearance Requirement: Secret security clearance.
