Associate Director, B2B Cardiometabolic Health

Reports to the Cardio Metabolic Health (CMH) Business Unit Lead. TheCMH Associate Director B2Bis a pivotal leadership role within the CMH market, responsible forstrategically driving substantial new businessthrough value-based partnerships with wholesalers, pharmacy chains/associations/digital health care, and key health care providers including out-patient care centers, specialized centers, and practice networks. This role requiresextensive experience in business development and strategic account management, along withstrong leadership capabilities to manage and mentor the B2B team. The position involves high-level face-to-face engagement with multiple providers of metabolic healthcare, facilitating strong and consistent sales growth while adhering to ethical engagement procedures. **Location:****This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs.****Key Responsibilities:** Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans, leveragingdeep industry experience, strategic foresight, and aninnovative mindset. * Extensive experience in senior-level key account and business-to-business management.* Familiarity with retail pharmacy chains and key HCP accounts. Understanding of online/telehealth platforms an asset.* Experience in private healthcare insurance is a plus.* Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen.* Effective communication skills and a proven track record of business growth in the healthcare market.* Commitment to ethical conduct.* Strategic thinking and an out-of-the-box mindset.* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to define overarching strategies and build performance dashboards.* Ability to identify untapped opportunities and determine the best approach to capitalize on them.* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, particularly through periods of change, and to drive transformation in dynamic environments.* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to internal and external stakeholders.* Tech-savvy and proactive in identifying automation and AI opportunities to improve operations.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred.* Minimum of 8 years of progressive experiencein key account management, business development, marketing, or sales within the healthcare industry.**Additional Skills/Preferences*** Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.* Demonstrated experience managing budgets or P&L responsibility is preferred.* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.**Required Competencies:** * Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.* Willingness to travel as required.* FR/EN bilingual preferred.At Lilly we strive to ensure our employees are part of a team that cares about them and our shared purpose of making life better for those around the world.
