Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require use of a personal vehicle.ResponsibilitiesProvide developmental and psychological assessments and psychological treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and their families referred to the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health.Collaborate with the Program Director or Senior in a clinical setting under the general direction of Psychology.Travel as required by the operational needs of VIHA.QualificationsEducation, Training And ExperienceDoctoral degree in clinical child psychology (or equivalent). Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Psychologist. One (1) to five (5) years experience in working with infants, children, and adolescents with developmental disorders or with emotional or behavioral disturbance. Experience in the supervised practice of clinical child psychology is preferred.
