Provides consultations, assessments, group and individual therapy in the complex pain intervention/management program using a variety of modalities and in accordance with professional standards and clinical policies and practices.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperiencePh.D. in Clinical Psychology. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Psychologist. Experience in complex pain management or a related field preferred. Experience with short-term individual and group therapy required. Knowledge of and experience with treatment specific to crisis stabilization an asset. Driver's license valid in BC.Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of the interactions between pain, addictions, and mental disorders.Knowledge of complex pain assessment tools, MMPI, and BPI.Exercise sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving.Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.Ability to plan and organize workload and establish priorities.Knowledge of community dynamics, agencies, and resources.Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.Knowledge of non-violent crisis intervention.Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of community and facility contacts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
