Clinical Dietitian & Food Service Manager - Healthcare Aramark is currently recruiting a Clinical Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services for acute care, long‑term care and outpatient services at Labrador West Healthcare located in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. This dual role also includes Food Services Manager responsibilities, overseeing meal service for 28 patients. This position is eligible for Newfoundland and Labrador Benefits allowance. Job Responsibilities Establishes and maintains policies, standards, and programs for the provision of optimal, cost‑effective nutrition care to patients/residents, coordinating and directing all clinical activities. Develop goals and objectives for clinical nutrition and food services to maintain high quality care. Utilizes equipment, resources, and programs to provide efficient and high‑quality care. Assists in the performance‑planning process for Dietitians and Dietetic Interns; interviews, selects and trains employees within the Food and Nutrition Services. Participates in the budget process. Recognizes and adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the patient/resident population and demonstrates knowledge of issues related to age of the population. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other facility departments to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care. Establishes and integrates department goals with client annual goals and visions to provide optimal nutrition care. Develops, implements and documents in‑service education programs for Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Interns and other nutrition personnel. Engages staff in research, professional publications and community lectures. Establishes and maintains systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Qualifications Minimum 3‑5 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian, preferably in a hospital or long‑term care setting. Preferable 2 years of supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with coursework accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies. Active member of the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Dietitians or a current membership transferred to the province. Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies.
