Department Overview At TD Canada Trust, we are the frontline of TD Bank, building deep and long-lasting relationships with customers by performing a broad range of customer service transactions and providing information and advice on services, products, and solutions. At the branch, we understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote products and services to refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal bank partner, while ensuring a positive customer experience. Job Description We seek a passionate individual to connect personally with customers and help them achieve their financial goals. In this role, you will demonstrate financial planning expertise and promote customer loyalty and investment returns. Responsibilities Advise customers on high-level financial solutions, including investment and credit banking options. Engage with customers by asking thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences. Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized advice and addressing concerns. Act as a point of contact for frontline staff handling customer problems. Maintain a professional environment in common areas as per marketing and regulatory guidelines. Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews and suggest solutions aligned with their goals. Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct. Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets. Prepare documents consistent with relevant regulations and accurately reflecting business intentions. Participate fully as a team member, build a positive and diverse work environment, mentor others, and address communication issues efficiently. Requirements High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience. Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required. CFSA completion within 12 months if hired. Experience with real‑estate secured lending and/or investment is an asset. Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts to provide personalized advice. Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications. Effective communicator who can exchange ideas and customer information concisely and logically. Self‑initiator with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
