Personal Banker Trainee - Inviting Applicants who identify as First Nation (Status and Non-Status) Inuit, and Métis Work Location: Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Hours: 37.5 hours per week Line Of Business: Personal & Commercial Banking Pay Details: $50,600 - $71,400 CAD At TD Canada Trust, we are the frontline of TD Bank. Responsibilities: Advising customers on high-level financial solutions across available investment and credit banking options. Engage customers by asking thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships. Increase customer financial confidence by providing personalized financial advice, addressing concerns, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Serve as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems. Maintain a professional space in common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines. Provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates and suggest tailored solutions based on customer goals. Stay informed about emerging issues, evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct and participate in process improvement opportunities. Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets. Prepare documents that comply with relevant regulations and reflect business intentions. Participate fully as a team member, build a positive and diverse work environment, mentor others, and address communication issues efficiently. Qualifications: High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience. Post‑Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required. CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired. Real‑estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset. Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts in order to provide personalized advice in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications. Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information concisely and logically.
