As a Bilingual Student Talent Acquisition Coordinator, your role will be crucial helping this high performing team continue to deliver on our commitment to the team. That’s OK. We are looking for someone with strong administrative support experience who is interested in the HR/ Recruiting field.We are on the hunt for a Student to join our Talent Acquisition Team at our Montreal office. This is a 4 month term with a possibility of extension, starting in Fall 2025.Responsibilities:Utilize the Application Tracking System (ATS) to manage full cycle recruitment, candidate relationship management and metric reportingCoordinate and schedule candidate interviews and balance activities to ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences throughoutCreate, review, and post jobs to various job boards and sites as necessary, send out for translation where necessaryAssist team with creating, planning and implementing promotional and recruiting strategies designed to attract new candidates and build on employment brandAssist team with sourcing top talent using a variety of methods including job postings, all social media, networking, referrals, career fairs, campus visits and direct sourcing/cold calling.Support the background screening processSupport the contract labour hiring processSupport the administration of the employee referral programWork with the recruiters to prescreen candidates by phone and make recommendations with hiring managersSupport TA ReportingManage TA related invoicesAssist with other adhoc administrative functions as requiredRequirements:French and English language a must. Works for the team hiring candidates from other provinces. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, Ontario Head OfficeInterested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalentExperience in an HR/Talent Acquisition role or an equivalent combination of education, training would be an assetStrong time management skills with the ability to work independentlyProficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookFamiliarity/proficiency with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, all social media and multiple search engine, job aggregators/propagators, etc.Must possess strong oral/written communications skillsDemonstrated competency in working with competing prioritiesStrong team-oriented working styleAbility, tenacity, and drive to navigate through ambiguity and deliver relevant solutions effectivelyExperience with an Applicant Tracking System would be an assetThe role will be based in our Montreal officesComments/Special Considerations:Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.MDA Ltd. is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
