Job Opportunity Elk Valley Hospital (EVH) is looking to hire an Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team on a casual basis. Responsibilities Provide assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning. Consultation and equipment prescription and education to residents/patients and/or their caregivers. Provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants working with us. Promote functional independence and enable residents/patients to achieve optimal health outcomes. What This Casual Position Could Offer Work for all vacation and sick days that current OT at EVH would have, and potentially for the primary care OT in Fernie/Elk Valley. Additional OT work in Cranbrook, Kimberley, etc. in these casual pools. Travel required to other East Kootenay locations. Opens doors to internally posted openings for permanent or temporary part-time or full-time positions. Location Fernie, BC – a charming small town in the Canadian Rockies, known for its outdoor recreational opportunities and vibrant community atmosphere. Employment Type Temporary – Casual day shift positions ranging from zero to 37.5 hours per week.
