Position Overview Family Practice-Anesthetist (FPA) – Anesthesia‑Only Practice with Locum Opportunities in Dawson Creek, BC. Option to practice full‑scope Family Medicine or ER. Responsibilities Provide advanced skills anesthesia across core specialties including Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Oncology, Maternity, and Emergency. Collaborate with community Family Medicine clinics to deliver comprehensive patient care. Assist in optional full‑scope Family Medicine and Emergency Room duties as needed. Participate in the full spectrum of hospital services including 24/7 emergency, ICU, day surgery, diagnostic imaging, cancer care, etc. Compensation Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service. Estimated Remuneration: $350,000+. Benefits and Incentives Vacation Leave Potential additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including Retention Premium (23.10%) and Retention Flat Fee of $35,798. Relocation Funding: $9,000–$15,000 (TBD); additional if relocating outside Canada ($15,000) or outside BC ($12,000). Recruitment Incentive: $20,000. MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) on top of MSP billings. REEF (Rural Emergency Enhancement Funding) for ER shifts on top of MSP billings and MOCAP payments. REAP (Rural Education Action Plan) and RCME (Rural Continuing Medical Education) available. RSA funding subject to change without notice. Employment Type & Seniority Full‑time • Mid‑Senior level.
