The M&A HR function acts as a lever for human, cultural, technological, and operational integration, ensuring consistency, compliance, and resilience in HR practices.The FAI HR Practice Lead plays a key role in structuring, supporting, and continuously improving this function. Here are your main responsibilities:Practice leadershipProvide ongoing support to team members (coaching, complex case resolution, arbitration)Ensure consistency of practices across projects, sectors, and geographies (Canada/United States)Collaborate with HR centers of expertise to align deliverablesStructuring and continuous improvementDevelop and maintain the HR FAI toolbox (models, templates, benchmarks)Contribute to updating the FAI HR guide (playbook) and documenting processesIdentify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions, and lead targeted initiativesCollaboration and strategic alignmentParticipate in FAI coordination committees and HR governance bodiesSupport the integration of FAI practices into the VPTC's strategic roadmapsContribute to strategic monitoring and the evolution of HR practices in the context of integrationWhat could accelerate your success in this positionHas at least 8 years of experience in HR, compensation, HRIS, or project management in an ISP contextHas a bachelor's degree in human resources, administration, science, actuarial science, or operations managementStands out for their experience in team support, coaching, and practice developmentIs recognized for their excellent communication, synthesis, and matrix collaboration skillsHas knowledge of North American HR environments (Canada/United States)Proficient in HR analysis, project management, and documentation toolsFluent in French and advanced knowledge of English, as the person will be required to communicate, present, and provide training to employees on a daily basis during new acquisitions and mergers in Canada and the United States.Why you will enjoy working with usA work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence;A healthy, safe, equitable, and inclusive environment where potential can be freely expressed and developed;The opportunity to work in a hybrid work environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces.
