Clinical Management Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring safe, effective, person‑centered care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans that address individual needs and preferences. Monitor and evaluate care quality, identify improvement areas, and implement evidence‑based practices to enhance resident outcomes. Team Member Supervision and Development Train, supervise, and evaluate nursing professionals (RNs, RPNs/LPNs, PSWs/HCAs). Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Provide ongoing education and training on clinical best practices, regulatory requirements, and resident‑centered care. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards governing long‑term care homes in Ontario or British Columbia. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, medication administration, and incident reporting to satisfy regulatory requirements. Coordinate and participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and surveys; address deficiencies and implement corrective actions. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Implement quality assurance measures to monitor care and service quality. Conduct regular reviews of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to align with best practices and regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify improvements and implement initiatives for enhanced resident care outcomes. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and dietary staff to coordinate holistic care for residents. Participate in care planning meetings, case conferences, and family meetings to discuss resident needs and preferences. Who You Are Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors. Completed a Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post‑diploma education. Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses. Have at least 1 year of experience working as a nurse in Long Term Care. Have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory role.
