About the Role NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are recruiting for 4 permanent nursing posts within the Intensive Care Unit / High Dependency service. The full‑time position (37 hours per week) involves rotational 12‑hour shifts in day and night patterns, Monday to Sunday, covering a range of patients from single to multi‑organ failure requiring ventilatory, cardiovascular and renal support. The unit provides tertiary referral services in vascular, ENT and renal care. Key Responsibilities Provide patient‑centred critical care for adults in a high‑dependency and intensive care environment. Administer ventilatory, cardiovascular and renal support as required. Participate in competency‑based preceptorship training and complete the Critical Care Course accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University. Qualifications & Requirements Live NMC UK registration pin and registration as a Registered Nurse trained in general or adult nursing on the NMC Register. Evidence of professional development, basic IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for a critical care environment. Pre‑employment NMC registration verification before start date. Work Details 4 permanent posts. 37 hours per week. Rotational 12‑hour shifts day and night, Monday to Sunday. Shift pattern: 24/7 days and nights.
