An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team within Critical Care Neurosciences/OMFS in the Institute of Neurological Sciences, QEUH. The Department of Neurosurgery provides pioneering neurosurgical procedures and care as part of regional services for the West of Scotland. Our 12‑bed Critical Care Unit provides person‑centred care for critically ill patients from Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Oral Maxillary Facial Surgery. The unit has a dedicated Clinical Educator who will support you in developing your skills and career. Responsibilities & Qualifications Experience in Critical Care is desirable but not essential. A post‑basic critical care qualification is desirable. Commitment to patient‑centred care, continuing professional development, and understanding of our service and specific patient needs. Flexibility and willingness to participate in service progression and growth. Ability to work effectively in a team. A competency‑based education programme is in place to support your development.
