The Financial Accountability Branch is in search of a collaborative people leader who excels in stakeholder engagement and can guide teams through strategic transformation. As Director you will have the opportunity to help further build excellence in the post‑secondary sector by overseeing the strategic mandate agreements and financial transactions with every college and university in the sector. The branch is also responsible for leading the delivery of transfer of funding payment agreements to Ontario's colleges and universities. The Director will lead a high performing team to work collaboratively with external partners in the post‑secondary sector, other levels of government and internal partners across the ministry and the OPS to provide client‑focused services. The Director will also work with the divisional leadership team and staff to advance innovation, creative problem‑solving, and best practices in financial accountability for post‑secondary schools. As a member of the ministry's senior leadership team, this Director will be accountable for advancing employee engagement and wellbeing, while upholding a diverse, inclusive, accessible, and respectful workplace where every employee has a voice and the opportunity to fully contribute.
