Position Summary The Office Manager provides administrative support to OVG departments and the General Manager, focusing on payroll, HR, accounting, and general clerical duties. Key tasks include processing payroll with ADP Workforce Now, maintaining personnel files, scheduling, month‑end closing, and financial reporting. The role requires strong multitasking, organization, and the ability to handle seasonal, event‑driven workloads. Benefits Hourly rate of $25.00‑$28.00 CAD; pension matching. This position is open until January 9, 2026. About The Venue TD Coliseum, located in Hamilton, ON, will undergo a $280 million renovation to become an 18,000‑seat venue with a reimagined facade, premium seating, improved acoustics, and upgraded concourses. The modernized venue will join a growing market with the capacity for large shows and will open in Fall 2025. Responsibilities Provide general office, administrative, and accounting support including weekly cash and sales reports. Compile, verify, and process biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now. Maintain employee time‑keeping data and ensure compliance with company policies. Handle payroll records, deductions, and tax forms (T4, T4A). Assist with payroll reporting by event type and support month‑end payroll reconciliations. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, scheduling, and deductions. Safeguard company assets through monitoring accounting procedures and conducting audits as needed. Perform basic HR functions: personnel file maintenance and employee inquiries. Escalate accounting, HR, or policy concerns to management promptly. Qualifications Minimum 1‑2 years of payroll, accounting, or administrative support experience. Hands‑on experience with payroll systems, especially ADP Workforce Now. Knowledge of payroll and tax issues and employment law basics. High proficiency with Windows, Microsoft applications, and HRIS/finance systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
