Pipefitter Journeyperson - SaskPower Aspen Saskatoon, SK Canada Employment Type: Temporary FT (CAN) Position: Pipefitter Journeyperson – SaskPower Aspen Project Type: Industrial Project Location: Shift: Day Schedule: Accommodations: LOA GC: Graham Allied Partner: Woodland Constructors Ltd Reference Number: 29616 As a Journeyperson Pipefitter you will: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements; Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine; Select type and size of pipe required; Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools; Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system; HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4‑20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4‑24” Install supports, valves, piping and control systems; Test system for leaks using testing equipment; Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system; Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system; Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment. Requirements: CSTS 2020 or SCOT WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred) Confined Space (OSSA Preferred) Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred) Journeyperson Certificate or be a registered Apprentice Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada Pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
