What to Expect We are looking for a Medical Affairs Manager to support the Health Care Provider (HCP) channel, reporting into the Senior Manager of Medical Affairs, Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS). The main function of this role is to work internally as a coordinated partner in strategic business decisions, while maintaining an external focus as a credible scientific partner with key stakeholders. As a Medical Affairs Manager supporting the HCP channel you will be working closely with the Genestra and Pure Encapsulations brand managers and related regulatory partners. You will be involved in strategic planning and work collaboratively with the Medical Affairs Manager supporting Retail. A day in the life Participate with field sales team (Territory Managers (TMs) in clinically focused interactions to help advance scientific exchange and support the evidence-based needs of the customer) Identify, engage and manage field-based relationships with medical and scientific participants including key Health Care Provider customers and KOLs Collect and communicate insights from the field to advise business activities Address medical and scientific inquiries from external customers, Health Care Providers, and internal collaborators Participate in national and international workshops/ conferences as assigned Develop scientific education and training in collaboration with the Sales Force Excellence team, and deliver internally to sales field force and internal business. Supports TMs with clinical and scientific knowledge and perspective by training and developing their clinical knowledge and skills to help them improve selling opportunities. Develop and implement regional/field based and/or sales initiated external medical education programs/scientific events for healthcare professionals aimed at helping improve clinical outcomes and advance/deliver business strategies. Lead a team of Medical Advisors to support execution of education initiatives Role Requirements Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Dietitian with masters level or equivalent experience, Medical Degree, MSc, or PhD in nutritional sciences is required Adult education/training experience is valuable Strong leadership skills and critical thinking; able to assume strategic lead role for medical affairs in project team.
